Inaugural WTGL season to begin in November.
ATLANTA (Aug. 31, 2026) – Atlanta Drive GC today announced Charley Hull, currently the seventh-ranked player in the world, Minjee Lee, 11-time LPGA Tour winner; three-time major champion, Andrea Lee, two-time Solheim Cup participant; LPGA Tour winner, Yuka Saso, two-time U.S. Women’s Open champion, and 23-year-old upcoming LPGA Tour star Nataliya Guseva will represent Atlanta in the inaugural season of WTGL.
In February, TMRW Sports announced Arthur M. Blank as the first team owner for WTGL – a new platform for women’s team golf in partnership with the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) – with a team representing Atlanta and operated by AMB Sports and Entertainment.

We’re excited for the inaugural season this fall as we aim to continue the success of Atlanta Drive GC and deliver more championships for the City of Atlanta.”
A native of Kettering, Northamptonshire in England, Hull put together a prolific amateur career before turning professional in 2013. That year, Hull also became the youngest member to compete for Team Europe in the Solheim Cup at age 17. She has represented Team Europe in every Solheim Cup since, posting a 15-9-3 career record over 27 matches. Currently the seventh-ranked player in the world, Hull has eight career professional victories – five on the Ladies European Tour and three on the LPGA Tour – and has 46 Top 10 finishes on the LPGA Tour, including 13 in major championships.
Minjee Lee is an 11-time winner on the LPGA Tour including three Major Championships – the 2021 Amundi Evian Championship, the 2022 U.S. Women’s Open and the 2025 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship. Currently ranked 13th in the world, the Perth, Australia native has competed in five International Crown team events, leading Australia to a win at the Hanwha LIFEPLUS International Crown in 2025. Lee leads the LPGA Tour in sand saves (60%) and ranks third for fewest putts in final rounds (27) this season.
A native of Hermosa Beach, Calif., Andrea Lee played collegiately at Stanford University, earning nine individual titles and named first-team all-conference and a WGCA All-American three consecutive years from 2017-19. Since turning professional and joining the LPGA Tour in 2020, Lee has 23 career Top 10 finishes and captured the 2022 AmazingCre Portland Classic. The 28-year-old has competed for Team USA in each of the past two Solheim Cups, finishing with a 3-2-2 record in seven matches. Currently ranked 40th in the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings, Lee leads the LPGA Tour in driving accuracy, hitting the fairway on 83.1% of her drives this season.
Born in the Philippines with dual Japanese and Filipino citizenship, Saso garnered international attention as an amateur by winning both the individual and team gold medals for the Philippines at the 2018 Asian Games. At 19 years-old, she captured the 2021 U.S. Women’s Open becoming one of the youngest golfers to win the tournament in its history and joined the LPGA Tour. In 2024, Saso captured her second U.S. Women’s Open becoming the youngest player in history to win the tournament multiple times. Over the past five years, the 25-year-old has recorded 19 career Top 10 finishes on Tour.
Guseva played collegiate golf at the University of Miami and was named the ACC Freshman of the Year in 2021. The following year, Guseva competed on the Epson Tour, recording three Top 10 finishes, including a win at the Black Desert Resort Championship. Over the past three seasons on the LPGA Tour, the 23 year-old has recorded nine Top 10 finishes. Known for distance, Guseva averages 275.2 yards per drive this season, ranking 14th on Tour.
WTGL worked with team ownership groups, players and their representatives to build balanced five-player rosters that largely complement LPGA Tour and offseason schedules. Broadcast scheduling and, where appropriate, each team’s market and identity were also considered as part of the process. Three players from each team will compete in each match. WTGL's fast-paced format will feature mic’d-up access, Hammer strategy, risk-reward decisions, shot-clock pressure, and real-time performance data and analytics. WTGL’s competition is comparable to other team sports and simple to understand – two teams enter; one team leaves the winner.
